THE DESIGNER / THE HOUSE

ABOUT

LAGOS, 2005 — PRESENT

A distinct language of colour, texture and historical romance.

Lanre Da Silva Ajayi is a Nigerian fashion designer whose work brings together couture craftsmanship, vivid African pattern, metallic fabric, lace and the elegance of earlier eras. She founded her namesake label in Lagos in 2005.

Across ready-to-wear and made-to-measure collections, the house creates clothes for women who occupy space with confidence. Every piece begins with story—then becomes colour, line, texture and movement in the atelier.

The label has presented internationally, including at New York Fashion Week, and has been recognised by publications including Vogue Italia. Its point of view remains proudly rooted in Lagos and open to the world.
